Peaked to Perfection
Full eyebrows have been popular for awhile now, but this fall we will start to see a more structured eyebrow. The peak is back and adding a lot of sass to the new autumn look. Beyonce Knowles, Rihanna and Hayden Panettiere all have this eyebrow peak perfected and we're crazy about it. So grow your eyebrows bushy this summer then have them professionally shaped for back to school.

Mocha Frappuccino
Dump your black and red polishes from the summer and embrace a whole new way of thinking about your nail polish. This fall, nail polish is an accessory. Brown is the new black. It doesn't matter if you choose a beige tone or a mocha ... just as long as it's brown. Also, go bold with some jewel tones, like purple and blue.

Blush Naturally
Instead of a powder or a stain, cream blush is all the rage this fall. We actually like this best because it is a mix of liquid and powder and finishes more translucent on the skin. Don't go with a shade that's too pastel, instead choose a rosy shade, or a golden brown color that has some depth to it. This will be the perfect compliment to your fall makeup.

Flawless Face
Transparency is the key to fall makeup. Finding a way to marry your foundation with your blush so that it looks natural is essential to looking and feeling great this fall. Celebrities like Hayden Panettiere and Elisha Cuthbert are professionals at pulling off this look successfully. You want your face to look fresh, moisturized and not weighed down with too many layers. Keep it simple and looking effortless.

Glimmering Eyes
Eyelids are getting glammed-up this fall with a touch of glimmer. Now, we didn?t say glitter. That stuff went out of style several years ago. Glimmer is a powder that just has a little reflection to it to catch the light and add freshness to your face. Run a little of this product under your eyebrows for a hint of glamour. Paula Dorf makes a great glimmer powder that comes in several translucent colors.

Cut Off at the Crease
If you wear eyeshadow stick with one neutral shade (brown or gray) this fall, or go all out with a jewel tone, but make sure to ONLY go to the crease of your eyelid with one color. Color is being used minimally and when you blink will give a pop of color. Sometimes it's the little things that make the most impact. This fall is all about natural, translucent looks with punches of color.

Going in Circles
Cheeks get a whole new lease on life this fall. Many times, we think they need to apply cheek color underneath our cheekbones and elongate the cheek, but that's not necessarily the case. Be daring and go for a rounded cheek, like Cameron Diaz, because it adds to that glowing effect of femininity. Our Style Editor is obsessed with this trend and has already started using it. Just take the color you are using on a large brush, smile and dab the color on the part of your cheeks that sticks out.

Gloss is Gone
We don't want to believe it either, but apparently gloss is out and lipstick is in. (Gasp!) Matte, shiny and stains are all popular this fall. We specifically like this Tarte Roseberry lip stain. Pick a color that is two or three shades darker than your summer color. We recommend going with a berry color that is deep and rich.

Your True Colors
Use a concealer if you have to cover some trouble spots, but instead of a heavy foundation, opt for a translucent one. There's a lot of transparency on the skin for fall, a lot of dewiness, so there is a lot of emphasis on the skin. Embrace the freckles and pores that you may otherwise dislike and feel weightless and free with a light powder.

So Long
This summer we saw fake eyelashes since makeup is throwing back to a more retro vibe. The fakes come off this fall, but the mascara will still be stacked for a dramatic look. Eyelashes should be full and dramatic, but not over the top. Achieve Ashley Olsen's look with an eyelash curler, black mascara applied in several layers and lastly, use a separation brush to make the lashes look fuller.
