Scarf That Cone!
Sarah (on the right) knew what she wanted (ice cream) even at the age of two! Here she is with her sis Brittany (center) and Alemia, a girl who visited Sarah's family for six summers through the Fresh Air Fun group. Hey, it's always good to have an extra sister.

The Perfect Vacay
Since Sarah has family roots in Hawaii, she got to take a trip there during her junior year of high school. Here she is with her sister Brittany and her cousins Bri and Braddah at Hale'iwa Beach on the North Shore.

Halloween Team
Sarah left a big group of best friends back home! Here they are before their senior Halloween dance. That's Sarah there in the Dorothy costume. Rachel was the Queen of Hearts, Torie was a, um, "sailor," John was a pirate, and Andrea was ... "Ummm ... I think she was going for Cleopatra, but it looked more like Sacagawea," Sarah says.

Headline
Sarah's had lots of ops to dress up, huh? Here she is after her senior year scholarship ceremony. Sarah's third from the right with her friends Rachel, Kate, Torie, Julie and Jane. Four of them now attend college in Rhode Island and one is at school in Massachusetts. No one's come close to going as far away as Sarah has.

Sign Language
And here's Sarah in Waikiki, making the shaka sign, a common symbol or greeting with a variety of laidback meanings such as "cool," "hang loose," etc. Now THAT'S the aloha spirit.
