Power Couple
Beyonce & Jay-Z may be one of music's most famous couples, teaming up on several songs, but who cares about the music when there are marriage rumors swirling? After years of hearing them, we were starting to think this pair is destined to never tie the knot, but recently we've been hearing murmurings of a different sort: The couple will be leaving their respective music labels to create their own. Sure, it's not the same as a baby, but it will be a little piece of the two of them.

The Girl
Even though it seems like Beyonce and >Jay-Z have been together forever, romance was a long time coming for this couple. Beyonce started out performing in her mom's hair salon with the original members of what would later become Destiny's Child. Sure, a hair salon isn't a massive arena show, but everyone's gotta start somewhere.

The Big Time
Just as Jay-Z's 'Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)' was becoming a staple of Top-40 radio, Destiny's Child was gearing up for fame and fortune. The group's first big hit reached the Billboard top 10 in 1998. The song: 'No, No, No Part 2.' We can only believe Beyonce was saying it to all those other boys while she waited for her true love. (And no, we're not sure where 'Part 1' ever was.)

Beyonce's BF ...
Austin Powers?Beyonce proved she was a double threat in 2002, starring opposite Mike Myers in 'Austin Powers in Goldmember.' Her character, Foxxy Cleopatra, rocked one badass Afro. She also released the song 'Work It Out' for the soundtrack, but we were too busy staring at her abs to worry about things like music.

Getting Together
Things must have soured with Austin Powers (yeah, that's it), because later that year, Beyonce collaborated with Jay-Z for the first time, on his '03 Bonnie & Clyde.' We're not sure why it was '03' in 2002, but we're betting they were so busy gazing in each other's eyes that they simply forgot what year it was.
