Living It Up
With the insanity that is 'High School Musical' and all that ensued after its release in 2006, Corbin Bleu pretty much became a household name (at least, in any household we'd want to live in). Although he may have always had those rockin' curls, Corbin didn't always have the rockin' fame. Check out how he got started and rode the fame train to superstardom.

Before 'HSM'
We know -- it's hard to imagine life before 'High School Musical,' but that's when Corbin's career began. He modeled for Target as a little tot, and soon moved on to guest roles in TV shows like 'ER' and 'Galaxy Quest,' on which we assume he fought evil aliens with his super-strength hair. His first big break, though, came in 2004, when he landed the starring spot in the flick 'Catch That Kid.'

Island Fever
Corbin Bleu's next big role was in 2005, as a character on Discovery Kids' series, 'Flight 29 Down.' The show followed the stories of seven teens after their plane crashes on a remote tropical island. Hmm. Kind of sounds like another show we like to watch ...

Giving Guy
That same year, Corbin showed that he wasn't just another cute, talented teen on his way to conquering Hollywood. Instead, he was a cute, talented teen on his way to conquering Hollywood who was also very giving, donating his time at the Los Angeles Mission Meal for the Homeless on Thanksgiving. We're glad this guy knows just how much he has to be thankful for -- plus enough heart to give back.

So Popular
And then came 2006, year of the 'High School Musical.' As the musical took off, so did the careers of everyone in it, including Corbin. Somewhere amidst all of the promotional events for the movie, he and castmate Ashley Tisdale took a few moments to sit down and sign some autographs. Aww. That's why we love you guys.

Jump In to Fame
Before the 'HSM' mania had barely begun, Corbin Bleu got a starring movie role in 'Jump In!' alongside fellow up-and-comer Keke Palmer. Playing a Brooklyn boxer who trades his gloves for jump rope, Corbin hopped more than double-dutch -- he jumped in to the next phase of his career.

'Another Side'
By now, we all know Corbin as Chad in 'High School Musical.' But in May 2007, with the release of his debut album, ''Another Side,' we saw -- well, you know -- of the star. Corbin saw the album as an opportunity to show new parts of his personality -- plus, of course, another of his artistic abilities (why were we not surprised?).

The 'HSM' Train
Even as the stars of 'High School Musical' began to branch out, they somehow still made time to go on a national tour of the show, stopping in cities from NYC to L.A. The tough demands of stage performances -- like this one in Washington D.C. -- show the dedication of our rising star. We mean, c'mon -- with moves like this one, we know he's going places.

Back to Roots
Even as he's making the transition from ensemble cast member to solo star, Corbin Bleu's roots are still with the 'High School Musical' (isn't everyone's, really?). As if answering our dreams and hopes, the cast has reunited for a second movie, 'High School Musical 2.' And Corbin, of course, will be there -- singing his heart out, maybe even at Sharpay's grandfather's country club.

The Spotlight
As the 'HSM' train continued to chug along at full speed, Corbin and his peeps seem to wind up on red carpets more and more frequently. In December 2006, the boys rocked the spotlight at the 2006 Billboard Music Awards. This year, they arrived as guests. Next year -- maybe nominees? We're crossing our fingers.

Young Hollywood
Corbin Bleu is now among the up-and-coming young Hollywood elite -- but he's not too cool to support his rising generation in the entertainment biz. Plus, he's starting to see and be seen -- really a must when breaking into the industry (especially parties ... lots of those are key). Recently, he attended the premiere of Emma Roberts' big flick, 'Nancy Drew.'

Hitting the Road
This summer, Corbin's busting out of the 'HSM' shell even more and touring with Aly and AJ, Drake Bell and Bianca Ryan on the NextTour. As if he wasn't busy enough, he's been rehearsing intensely for the past few months, and will taking his music across the U.S. After so much success, what could he possibly do next? Well ... we think it might have something to do with 'High School Musical 3.'
