Do They Have
What it Takes?Robin Antin created the Pussycat Dolls in LA during the '90s. More than ten years later, her concept is now a chart-topping girl-band that has its own TV show on the CW, 'Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for The Next Doll.' Robin says that your 'inner doll' is confidence, being fearless and not being afraid to be who you are and what you were born with. So far this season, we've been watching to see which of these contestants will become such a doll ... and if we can share it on the weekends. It's now down to the final four, so check out the warm-ups and break-downs so far...

In the Beginning
The first episode of Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll' was also the first audition for the many Pussycat Doll hopefuls who showed up to compete for a spot as the new Doll. While the show appeared to be an 'American Idol'-style audition process (sans the viewer voting), we were reminded that this is, in fact, reality TV, when the girls had a surprise audition obstacle that helped decide who the 18 remaining dancers would be.

And Then There
Were NineIn the second episode, the remaining nine contestants moved into an LA loft together and took some downtime to kick it at an LA club. But just as they were enjoying the wannabe-rockstar life, Robin Antin challenged them all to dance in a glass box on stage. It's hard enough to dance on stage in front of a huge audience on national TV without warning, but the glass box was a little over the top, not to mention claustrophobic -- and, of course, it led to contestant dismissal. It's a good thing they rehearse.

Makeover Madness
By the third episode of the season, the girls had gotten into their audition groove and were separated into two groups for a dance-off worthy of the best dance flicks we've ever seen. But no episode is complete without a surprise, and in this one, Robin Antin's brother Jonathan Antin (of 'Blowout' fame) provided the money moment when he showed up to give the girls makeovers.

Sexy is Back
With seven girls left, Pussycat Doll members Carmit and Ashley dropped in to get the remaining hopefuls to access their inner divas and bring the sexy back to the game. We're not sure that anyone who gets this close to being a PCD actually needs lessons in the arts of sultry dancing, but if auditions are all about edge, then we guess any little extra hip-swing helps.

Wind It Up
In the sixth episode, the girls came the closest yet to touching the stage as a Pussycat Doll. They were asked to audition as a back-up dancers for the Dolls in a last-minute challenge that had them scrambling to create routines, then sobbing when they heard that not all of them would be chosen. This may have seemed like a no-brainer for any reality TV watcher, but somehow the lovely PCD wanna-bes hadn't thought farther than their choreography.

'The Fantastic Four'
So far this season, we've already seen tons of classic diva behavior, from tantrums to back-stabbing to 'tude in the dance studio (so unbecoming). So we can only imagine how heated the competition will be tonight with the final four sing & dance it up in a storm of ambition. We can't wait.
