The Stars of Summer '07

The Heartthrob
Zac Efron has been on the Tiger Beat radar ever since Disney Channel's record-breaking movie 'High School Musical' hit the small screen. But summer 2007 is promising big things for our young stud. He's starring as heartthrob Link Larkin in soon-to-be released movie musical 'Hairspray,' and is having another go as Troy in 'High School Musical 2,' out in August. But the most recent and exciting news: Zac is set to take on Kevin Bacon's famous role in the remake of cult classic 'Footloose.'

The Foxy Babe
You may remember Megan Fox as the obnoxiously snobby Carla Santini in Lindsay Lohan's 'Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.' If not, you're sure to remember her after this summer's blockbuster 'Transformers.' Dubbed the next Angelina Jolie, if anyone can get boys more excited about their favorite childhood robot toys coming to life on the big screen, it's most certainly Megan Fox. (And her name is annoyingly fitting, isn't it?)

The Leading Man
Shia LaBeouf has 2007 (and most likely 2008) on lock down. 'Transformers' is currently tearing up the box office and now Shia is spending his summer with Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford filming 'The Fourth Installment of Indiana Jones.' Working with Spielberg and essentially being a part of filmmaking history ... sure beats summer camp, doesn't it?

The Unlikely Hottie
For fans (in our case, freaks) of the hit comedy 'The Office,' John Krasinski is no newcomer. In fact, we were just waiting for his star to start shining brighter. Right now, starring alongside Mandy Moore and Robin Williams in romantic comedy 'License to Wed', John already has big things on the horizon. Next up? Another romantic comedy, 'Leatherheads,' also starring A-listers George Clooney and Renee Zellweger. Just don't forget who loved you first, Johnny!

The Funny Guy
Jonah Hill has been in several movies, but always seems to be cast as the stereotypical loser sidekick/friend. This summer, he gets a chance to be the stereotypical loser/leading man with fellow rising star Michael Cera in raunchy comedy 'Superbad.' But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Jonah joins an all-star line-up of voices (Steve Carrell, Jim Carrey and Dustin Hoffman, just to name a few) for the 2008 animated film 'Dr Suess' Horton Hears a Who.'

The Lovable Nerd
Michael Cera is so cute, if we ever met him, we'd definitely have to refrain from "booping" his nose. Playing best friend to Jonah in 'Superbad,' also look out for young and talented Michael with Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman in upcoming drama 'Juno.'

The Boy Next Door
Max Theriot definitely flies under the radar, but we think this 19-year-old baby-face is just starting to sink his teeth into Hollywood. Just recently seen alongside fellow up-and-comer Emma Roberts in 'Nancy Drew,' we hope we see Max take the jump from chick flicks to hit flicks.

The Girl Next Door
Everyone could have guessed Julia Robert's niece, Emma Roberts, would be a leading lady in no time. Just look at that smile. 'Nancy Drew' herself is already set to play a Malibu princess in 2008's 'Wild Child.' Looks like this girl has range!

The Likely "Hero"
Mmm. Milo Ventimiglia. This hottie is the hottest thing about the hit NBC show 'Heroes' (although, Hayden Panettiere is certainly giving him a run for his money). Milo hit the jackpot, playing in 2006's 'Rocky Balboa' and will headline in 2007 thriller, 'Pathology.' Two hours of Milo? It's almost too much to bear!

The Unlikely Hero
This picture says it all and that is why we love Seth Rogen. Already the leading man in box office winners, Seth's quick on his way to becoming Hollywood's favorite underdog. In fact, we're pretty sure he's already there.

The "It" Girl
We doubt there needs too much explaining behind why Miley Cyrus is this summer's "it" girl. Just recently gracing the cover of People magazine, her hit show 'Hannah Montana' is currently in talks to be made into a movie and the most exciting news yet ... Miley's album 'Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus' debuted at Billboard's #1 spot, beating out pop princess Kelly Clarkson. This is most certainly only the beginning for Miss Miley.
