Here's Harry
Oh, Daniel Radcliffe. We understand. Everyone's so wrapped up in the next next 'Harry Potter' movie, and this one hasn't even come out yet. In fact, we're so excited for 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' to open that we're just re-reading the book to pass the time. Over the four movies we've found that Harry's magic lies not as much in the storylines, however, but in the fact that, on the cusp of the fifth cinematic installment in the series (yes. FIFTH), we are still lining up for the ticket pre-sale.

Spending, Ahoy
So far in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' series, we've embraced Johnny Depp as a convincing (if not, let's face it, a tad kooky) pirate and captain; we've drooled over Orlando Bloom as a drop-dead gorgeous member of the English upper crust; and we've adopted Keira Knightley (or what's left of her skeletal self) as a courageous -- if not histrionic -- love interest and damsel in distress. So after spending its studio into oblivion for numero dos, what's left to spend on 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End?' We can't wait to find out.

Staying Afloat
We've appreciated the precursors to 'Oceans 13' if for no other reason than they brought sexy back to the movies (we know, Justin Timberlake had music covered already). But we also knew that 'Oceans Twelve' was such a massive critical and box office failure that anyone who had the guts to return to the set and make another one
-- plus lure back an all-star ensemble cast that includes George Clooney and Brad Pitt
-- deserved out attention. We're getting our poker faces on and waiting to see if this flick stays afloat. -
Sony
Web of Action
In the first two 'Spider-Man' movies, we've seen Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) become a mutated arachnid superhero, lose his uncle, fight a ferocious goblin, lose Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) to his BFF, save the earth from a scientist with aggressive tentacles and win Mary Jane back. So what's left for 'Spider-Man 3' -- possibly the most expensive movie ever made? It starts with a black suit, some new baddies and more peril for ... you guessed it ... Mary Jane. Get ready for the web-slinging.

Surf's Up
Let's see ... Jessica Alba's in a skin-tight outfit, there's a guy who travels on a silver surfboard, plus an evil doctor and a team of courageous humans willing to save the earth. Does a summer flick get any more perfect? In 'Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,' the heroic humans are back to save us all once again. We're ready to dive in.

CartoonBack
Our only regret about 'Shrek the Third' is that Shrek & co. are cartoons. Justin Timberlake is finally getting acknowledged as a serious actor, and we're teased with just his voice. Well, at least he's a main character: In the Third, he pays Artie, Shrek's super-slacker cousin who may have to step up to the throne. We won't tell you what happens -- but we would let JT rule our world any day.

Heavenly Sequel
In this follow-up to 'Bruce Almighty,' Steve Carell has moved into the starring role as Evan Baxter, who is tasked by the Almighty (played by -- who else? -- Morgan Freeman) to build a modern-day ark. We're thinking this may have been a shrewd cross-promo campaign from the folks behind 'An Inconvenient Truth' to show us what we'd be stuck with when Armageddon really arrives. And, viewed from this highly responsible perspective, 'Evan Almighty' could be the most socially-conscious sequel of the summer.

Kicking Butt, Again
Another movie sequel? Mais Oui! It's been nine years since the first installment of the 'Rush Hour' franchise hit theaters, and somehow it's still kicking its way back to studios for one_more_round. Like a kung-fu master that just won't back down, 'Rush Hour 3' reunites Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker as LAPD detectives who have new bad guys to fight in new territory. This time, the duo's off to Paris to fight a Chinese crime family. Two thumbs up for international flair.
