RED's Top 20 Best Kisses

20. Liv Tyler and
Ben AffleckHe was going off to save the world in one of the most boring ways possible (oil digging? seriously?) and she was waiting behind, maybe losing both her dad and her Ben Affleck in 'Armageddon.' Poor Liv Tyler ... at least the kiss was great. The one freaky thing was that her real-life dad, Stephen Tyler, sang her love song. Um, creepy.

19. Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal
If there were ever two cowboys that needed to get it on, it's Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal in 'Brokeback Mountain.' And while some of the scenes were a little bit ... graphic, the first smooch was downright sweet. Oh, forbidden love in the wild, wild west ...
-
The WB / Frank Ockenfels
18. Lorelei and Luke
OK, they kissed and got engaged in one season on 'Gilmore Girls,' but we still can't believe it took so many years for Lorelei and Luke to finally make it happen. Though the series ended, at least these two made up by the last episode, leaving us all on a happy note.
-
Mario Perez, ABC
17. Sawyer and Kate
We're still not sure if Kate and Sawyer are going to end up together (definitely not sure after that 'Lost' season three finale!), but at least they had their one hot kiss ... and then the hook-up scene in the bear cage. But that first kiss was still our favorite.

Suzanne Hanover, 20th Century Fox / ZUMA Press
16. Drew Barrymore and Michael Vartan
OK, so the movie 'Never Been Kissed' is a little unrealistic. Seriously, who has never been kissed by their late 20s? Oh, you haven't been kissed? Well, look on the bright side. You could have a kiss like Drew Barrymore and Michael Vartan in front of the whole baseball team. It was so precious. It almost made us get over the fact that Jessica Alba was in the movie.

Lucasfilm Ltd. / 20th Century Fox / ZUMA Press
15. Princess Leia and Han Solo
We're going to dork out for a second, but when Han Solo finally kissed Princess Leia, all our 'Star Wars' dreams came true. And it was about a thousand times less creepy than when Leia kissed her brother Luke, and Luke was all smug about it. If George Lucas wants to change the movies so much, why did he leave THAT scene in there?!

Warner Bros.
14. Ross and Rachel
It may seem like history now, but the first time Ross and Rachel kissed on 'Friends,' we jumped out of our chairs ... we were so excited. Yeah, it took like one episode for them to break up the first time, but still ... after a season and a half, we were READY. And after Ross cheated on Rachel, we were so over the show all together.
-
13. Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar
Even though Sarah Michelle Gellar was all evil in this movie (we were happy that she got taken down in the end by Selma Blair) their kiss was still pretty hot. We kinda forget what the point of the kiss was, or even what 'Cruel Intentions' was about ... unless those two kissing was the point of the whole movie. And really, that wouldn't surprise us. It'd totally be worth it.

Universal Pictures / ZUMA Press
12. Molly Ringwald and Michael Schoeffling
The last thing we expected at the end of 'Sixteen Candles' was for Michael Schoeffling to be waiting for Molly Ringwald with a cake and a kiss. Honestly, we half expected any kissing to be between her and Anthony Michael Hall. Which would have made it a horror movie.

Paramount, ZUMA Press
11. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet
OK, Leonardo DiCaprio might be the king of the world, but Kate Winslet isn't doing too badly either, getting to make out with Leo in what's probably the most romantic movie ever. Sure, Leo died at the end of 'Titanic' when the boat sank (spoiler alert!), but that just means he never had the chance to cheat on her.
-
Paul Drinkwater, NBC
10. Jim and Pam
The best thing about 'The Office'? Do we have to pick just one? Ugh, OK. The best may be Jim and Pam's romance. And the kiss that ended season two was probably the highlight so far, if you don't count Jim asking Pam out at the end of last season. And until we see them ACTUALLY go out, we don't.
-
9. Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom
While Keira Knightley's kiss with Johnny Depp might have been a little more surprising (and sneakier), her kiss with Orlando Bloom at the end of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End' was one of the hottest, most satisfying kisses ever. It'd have to be, to last ten years.
-
Fox
8. Seth and Summer
While the real 'Spider-Man' kiss is coming up, the one between Seth and Summer on 'The OC' was amazing just for the pure geekiness of the entire thing. Plus, well, we love Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson together on both the show AND in real life, and this is how we'll always remember their relationship.

7. Britney Spears and Madonna
Sure, it was a transparent ploy to get them both in the news for pure shock value ... but it worked, and we couldn't stop watching. Ironically, Britney Spears has spiraled downward from this moment, while Madonna is off doing charity work. It's almost as if the bad decisions gene was swapped with the spit.

20th Century Fox
6. Brad Pitt and
Angelina JolieThe making-out in 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' was pretty hot, but considering we all knew what was going on behind the scenes with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, that just made the whole thing wrong to the point it was oh-so-right. ...OK, maybe not for Jennifer Aniston, but totally for us.

Walt Disney Productions, ZUMA Press
5. Lady and the Tramp
It might be a Disney cartoon, but you can't deny that when 'Lady and the Tramp' are eating spaghetti behind the Italian restaurant and they accidentally kiss ... they might be dogs, but it was still romantic as all hell. Plus, Tramp's such a bad boy, it just made it that much sweeter.
-
Warner Bros.
4. Harry Potter and
Cho ChangIt's only taken five movies (and books) for our boy Harry Potter to get some sugar, but at least he got it from the girl he wanted forever (or at least the last book or so). Since we've read the books, we know that this kiss won't go anywhere, but at least it was magic.

3. Will Ferrell and
Sacha Baron CohenThey kissed in 'Talladega Nights,' winning the MTV Movie Award for their performance. But that had nothing on what happened when Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen accepted the award. Let's just say there was some jealousy, some hurt feelings ... and one of the sexiest kisses we've ever seen.
-
Columbia Pictures
2. Spider-Man and
Mary JaneThere's nothing hotter than kissing in the rain ... except maybe kissing a stranger in a mask upside down. 'Spider-Man' gave us one of the coolest, most iconic kisses in movies ever, even if his chin probably bumped right into her nose. Believe us, it's not easy ... we've tried it.

1. Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling
Just like Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling won the MTV Movie Award for best kiss in 'The Notebook.' Apparently that wasn't enough for them, though, because they decided to go on and out-kiss just about anyone else, anywhere, anytime. We mean, look at that thing. They win, hands down.
