Must I be online to play?

Yes, you need to be online and using a broadband connection to play Firechild.

Can I play using a dial up connection?

No, Firechild is only available to broadband users.

How do I learn to play a game?

If you click on one of the Episode links on the Firechild Single Player page, you will be taken to that episode's launch page. Click on the PLAY button when you see a window pop-up and click yes when asked, to allow the game to control the mouse and to switch in full screen mode. Click on the How to Play button on the game main menu to get information on the game controls.

Why does the game look small on my screen?

You should play Firechild at the same resolution your monitor setting is on. In the Firechild main menu, select the "Image Detail" option and choose the appropriate resolution.

Can I play using a Macintosh OS or Linux?

Currently Firechild is not available for the Macintosh or Linux platforms.

Can I have multiple copies of the game running at the same time?

Having more than one game running at one time may cause stability and performance issues. We do not recommend running more than one game at a time.
