Step 1: To Tweeze or Not to Tweeze?
Do you want to tweeze or wax your brows? Tweezing is the cheapest alternative. Your main expense will be a good tweezer. Waxing, while more expensive, is a great starting place. You can let an expert get your brows in shape and then you can take over with the maintenance.

Step 2: Don't Press Your Pluck
When tweezing, it's much easier to pluck hairs that have been warmed by hot moisture first. After a fresh, hot shower is a great time to get your pluck on. You can also use ice to make your experience less painful. Remember, plucking is essentially ripping your brow hairs from the root, and it's gonna hurt!

Step 3: Draw a Map
Finding the natural arch of your eyebrows is very important. Grab a pencil and draw a faint thin line of how you think your curve should go. As a general rule, your arch should hit its peak where the middle of your eye is. It should begin at the center of the nostril below it and end just a bit past the outer corner of the eye.

Step 4: Wax Warfare
Waxing can be a much quicker way to get your eyebrows in the shape you want. It only costs about $10 and usually the people at the salon can get you a nice, even arch. You can even try an at-home kit, but be careful -- hot wax can leave a nasty burn! The upside to doing it at the salon is usually they don't overdo it.
